Passionate about the Heath? Join us on October 11th to discuss a new project!

Are you passionate about Kings Heath? Do you want to collaborate with like-minded Heathens on the local topics that are important to you?

We are working with BirminghamWeAre to give Kings Heath a totally different social media platform, but we need enthusiastic and like-minded Heathens to help us get it off the ground.

We are meeting on Thursday (11th October) at The Station @ 7pm to discuss this in more detail and to get as many people on board as possible.

So, if you are a member of a local society or organisation that would like to have your voice heard, or you are a business that would like to engage with the community, or a passionate resident that wants to collaborate with others for the further improvement of our great suburb, please come along.

The meeting is open to anyone and everyone, but in particular we’d like to see passionate residents who are interested in a social media platform that brings the community together.

Minutes now available from 3 Oct public meeting

Great to see so many enthusiastic and willing KH folk at this evening’s meeting – thanks so much to all of you who were able to be there. A brief summary of some of the action points relating to #LightUpKH.

1: We will have flyers printed by the end of the week to raise awareness, please let us know if you’d be willing to distribute on your road (or beyond…)
2: We will coordinate a plan to ask businesses to sponsor a lamppost and get the ball rolling in the next few days
3: We will clarify all the info on raffles in coming days.

REMEMBER – we WILL be putting lights on in KH this year, the target date on our crowdfunding page is just when we have to inform the council by.
